Kudmus is involved in the design and development of new consumer electronics products for its OEM clients. Our software development team has immediate multiple openings for its Ottawa location, and its R&D office in Beirut.

1) Intermediate Software Developer - Location: Ottawa, Canada - Term: Contract or full time
If you are passionate about delivering the best User Experience, polished User Interface, and reliable code, and if you have a Computer Science or Computer Engineering university degree, and 3+ years experience developing software applications in Java, C++, and Web application with the latest AJAX techniques, if you love working with open source projects, this may be the job for you.

Other requirements:
- Experience developing under Linux using open source development environment and source control systems;
- Good knowledge of Internet protocols, and DHTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Apache/PHP/MySQL
- Knowledge of AJAX usability guidelines, data presentation, patterns, and
- Familiarity with Mash-up techniques (AJAX, JavaScript, REST/SOAP) are a plus;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

2) Embedded Software Developer - Location: Ottawa, Canada (or remote) - Term: Contract or full time
If you love being in control of the ins and outs of your system, and if you're not shy in showing your love for Linux. If you have a Computer/Electric Engineering university degree.
If you are as comfortable with the concepts of OOP and C++, as with programming low level utilities and device drivers using C, if you love working with open source projects, this may be the job for you.

Other requirements:
- Experience developing under Linux using open source development environment and source control systems;
- Good knowledge of embedded OS's, Linux Kernel 2.6x, hardware architecture, networking and Internet technologies;
- Good understanding media streaming protocols, security, and encoding in JPEG, MPEG 1/2/4, H.264, etc...;
- Familiarity working with remote invocation and web services (WSDL/SOAP);
- Comfortable integrating with 3rd party API and Libraries.

3) Application Software Developers (x2) - Location: Beirut, Lebanon - Term: Contract or full time
If you are confident you can become world-class developer in short time or you're already there! If you're excited to be involved in the development of the latest hot products, if you have a Computer Science or Computer Engineering university degree with great marks, if you're up and running developing software in Java and/or C++, and Web application with the latest AJAX techniques, if you love working with open source projects, this may be the job for you.

Other requirements:
- Knowledge of Internet protocols, and DHTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Apache/PHP/MySQL
- Familiarity with AJAX usability guidelines, data presentation, patterns;
- Good communication skills in English (French is a plus).

If you love to program close to the metal, or you like to learn how to do it. If you have a Computer/Electric Engineering university degree with great marks. If you are as comfortable with the concepts of OOP and C++, as with programming low level utilities and device drivers using C, this may be the job for you.

- Familiarity with Linux, and open source development environment and source control systems;
- Familiarity with embedded OS's, hardware architecture, networking and Internet technologies;
