Born in Beirut, Lebanon, August 20, 1937 to Aref and Khadijah Balaa, Omar came to Canada in 1972 where he established his family business, City Locksmith. Dear husband of Hoda. Loving father of Hicham, Haissam and Nasser. Beloved brother of Muheiddine, Adel, Dr. Kamal and Samir. Dear brother in law of Kheireddine Bleik and Mokhtar Houssari. Prayer at the Ottawa Main Mosque at Zuhr on Monday April 26, 2010 at 1 pm, followed by burial at Carp cemetery. Hani (Andy) Elias Barake (Former owner of Andy's restaurant in Westboro) Battling heart disease, Andy died peacefully in hospital on Wednesday August 13, 2008 at the age of 70 years. Beloved husband of Mona (nee Ferial Ata). Loving father of Elie and Susan (Neil Bouchey). Dear brother of Waddad Abou Zeid (Boulous), Sister Celine, Nahia, Massad (Antoine) , Souad Hajjar (Habib), Josephine Aried (George), Ibrahim Barake, Amal Barake and Georges Barake (Carol) and all of their families. Frank Boosamra Passed away on July 28th, 2008 after a long struggle, at the Grace Manor at the age of 68. He will be profoundly missed by his beloved wife Carmel (nee Flemming), as well as his daughters and son-in-law Anissa Boosamra (Len Elphick) and Paula Boosamra. He is survived by his brothers Allan and Anne (Harper) of Montreal, Peter and Heather (Johnson), and Paul and Louise (Martin), both of Cornwall. Also survived by a large extended family of nieces, nephews and in-laws. Predeceased by his parents Sam and Nibby, of Cornwall.
