Josephine Ibrahim
Passed away peacefully in Ottawa with family by her side on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at the age of 85 .
Beloved wife of the late Edmond Amin Ibrahim.
Loving mother of Jeannette (Ghassan El-Sayegh), Marwan (Melissa Lee), Norma (George Ibrahim), the late Naji and late Zahi.
Much loved Teta of Ruba (Wojtek Copija),  Samer El-Sayegh (Ranine),  Rami El-Sayegh,  George Ibrahim,  Lara Ibrahim, Rami Ibrahim, Robbie Ibrahim, Rebecca Ibrahim; and great-grandmother of Damian Copija,  Neris Copija and Mila El-Sayegh.
Loving sister of the late Fouad Ibrahim and the late Joseph Ibrahim.
She will be sadly missed by her many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
The family wishes to thank Dr. David McMillan for his excellent care and compassion over the years and also the many nurses, social workers and staff at New Orchard Lodge for their hard work, dedication, positive spirit and kindness.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 5:00 to 9:00pm  at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 9:00am at Sts. Peter and Paul Melkite Catholic Church – 1161 North River Road.
Interment Hope Cemetery, 4660 Bank Street,  Ottawa, Ontario K1T 3W7.
