Obituary – Afif Raphael Hoyek

Passed away in Ottawa, on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.
Loving father of Dunia and Nader.
Dear brother of Raif, Jean (Adma), Louis, Soeur Francine and Denise; predeseaced by Sami, Nadim and Soeur Marguerite.
Cherished uncle of Charbel and Elie.
Trained in Lebanon as a mechanic, he came alone to Canada in 1974 and worked for Hydro Quebec. Once settled, he started a family and brought his siblings over from Lebanon. A lover of business, technology and politics. He was tremendously generous and gave much more than he was asked.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, May 6, 2024 between 5:00 and 9:00 pm at Beechwood Cemetery, 280  Beechwood Ave.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 11:00 am at St.Saint Charbel Parish Ottawa, Maronite Catholic Church, 245 Donald St.
Interment at Beechwood Cemetery.
For those wishing, in lieu of flowers, donations to   Saint Charbel Church would be appreciated.
