André Michel Saroufim
Peacefully on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the General Hospital, age 82 year.
Loving husband of Antoinette  Salameh.
Beloved Father of Michel, Marc (Shauna Rae) and Micheline.
Adoring Jiddo of Vivian, Edmund and Maeve.
André is survived by his brothers Richard, Henry and predeceased by his brother Antoine Saroufim, all of Lebanon.
Also remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
André worked as an accountant over the course of his career the bulk of which was spent working for Mothercat in Lebanon, Nigeria, UAE, and Cyprus.
André and his family moved to Ottawa, Canada in 1991. Here he found his new love – hockey! An avid fan was born and a game was never missed. His love of numbers lent itself quite well to a hand of cards – quatorze, pinochle anytime. Humming a tune or skipping a step André was never one to pass on a chance to dance – his quick wit, playful spirit and kind heart will be missed by all.
Family and friends may pay respects on Sunday August 28, 2016 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Kelly Funeral Home – Orleans, 2370 St-Joseph Blvd., Orleans, ON, K1C 1G1

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, August 29, 2016 at Annunciation of the Lord Church, 2414 Ogilvie Rd., Ottawa.
