(1927 – 2019)
Elias Sleimen Nehme, 91, returned to his heavenly home on May 15, 2019 to the embrace of his late parents, departed siblings and his angel granddaughters Stephanie, Ghiwa and Zeina.
His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God guided him throughout his journey on earth. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family.
Adoring husband of Montaha Geagea Nehme
Devoted father of Albert (Hoda Coutya), Pierre (Insaf El Khoury), Therese (Joseph Antoun), Jean (Lara Soliman) and Simon (Clara Francis)
Loving brother of John (Yolla Salibi), Anissa (late Semaan Meghaizel), late André (late Bertha Hatoum) and late Takla (late George El Asmar)
He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Rawad (Luna), Ghadi, Alen, Faten, Elias, Jeremy, Mariam, Elizabeth, Angelina, Annabelle, Jacob and Luca, his great-grandchild Adam, his many nieces and nephews as well as his extended family and friends
The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, May 17, 2019, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm and from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Beechwood Cemetery funeral home, 280 Beechwood Ave, Ottawa.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 12:30 pm at Sts Peter and Paul Melkite Catholic Church, 1161 N River Rd, Ottawa.
Interment at Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Ave.
