Passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the age of 73.
Beloved husband of Wadad of 51 years.
Loving father of Pierre (Konsuella), Paul (Paula) and Michel (Josée).
Proud and cherished grandfather of Alexandre, Nicholas, Mathieu and Frédéric.
Dear brother of Marie (late Elias Wehbe) and Georgette (Nasser Nehme).
Predeceased by  his brothers George (late Edma), Joseph (late Marie) and Adib (Betty).
Dear uncle of Gisèle, Noelle, Jazia and  many other nieces and nephews from overseas.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Ave. (east of Vanier Parkway) on Monday, August 1, 2016 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 11:00am  at St-Charbel Maronite Church, 245 Donald Street, Ottawa followed by interment and reception at Beechwood Cemetery.
Donations in Farid’s memory to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
The family wishes to sincerely thank  Dr. Karen Briggins, Dr. Chris MacEachern and  the nursing staff of the Ottawa Hospital General Campus for the compassionate care provided to Farid for almost a year.
