Georges exemplified a lifelong passion for fairness and justice, and he was especially proud to be a Canadian. Prior to immigrating to Canada, Georges served with the Lebanese Internal Security Forces and retired after 30 years of service.
Since the year 2017, Georges has been an inspiration to families affected by the shortfalls of long-term care regimes across Canada and the world, and his widely reported matter has served as one of the principal catalysts to promote systemic change. His closest family members and friends were blessed to have shared Georges’ remarkable life and to have received his everlasting love, and they will continue to advance his legacy in his honour.
