Georges Fayçal
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the age of 83.
Beloved son of the late Gergi Fayçal and the late Shahla Housseini of Lebanon.
Loving husband of Nadia El-Khoury.
Much loved father of Nelly (Gibran Sarouf), Norma (Wajdi Georges), Mireille (Alexandre Salloum) and Monique (Charbel Abouzeid).
Cherished grandfather of Chadi, Lara, Ramy, Lissa, Marc, Chloé, Léa, Olivia, Christophe and Mila.
Dear brother of the late Elias (Samira Zaydan), the late Yvonne (the late Elias El Habbaki), the late Hanni (Youssef Matar), Salwa (the late Toni El Housseini), the late Alice (Halim Matar) and Ernestine (the late George Nassar).
Georges will be fondly remembered by the Fayçal, El-Khoury, Sarouf, Georges, Salloum, Abouzeid, Zaydan, El Habbaki, Matar, El Housseini, and Nassar families, as well as their extended families in Canada and Lebanon.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 4:00 to 9:00 pm at Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 11:00 am at at Saint Charbel Parish Ottawa, Maronite Catholic Church, 245 Donald St.
Interment Beechwood Cemetery.
