Passed away on Friday,  November  18, 2016, at the general hospital in Ottawa surrounded by the love of his family.
Beloved husband of  Salma El-Hajj.
Loving  father of  Elie (Siham) and Ghassan, all of Gatineau;  Nelly  Freifer (Francois), Mona  Mansour (Jean),  Simon (Lydia),  Salim (Katia),  Rowida  and Wafaa, all of Lebanon
He will be dearly missed by his many grandchildren and extended family and friends in Canada, USA  and Lebanon.
Relatives and friends may pay respect, on Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. at the Beechwood  Funeral Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood  Avenue.
Funeral service will be held   on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 11:00 am. at Sts. Peter and Paul  Melkite Catholic Church,  1161 North River Rd.
Interment to follow at le Jardins du Souvenirs on 75, Boulevard Fournier in Gatineau.
In Georges’ memory,  donations to  Sts. Peter and Paul Church or Canadian cancer Society would be appreciated.
