August 15, 1932 – January 13, 2016.
Fell peacefully into the Hands of The Lord on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at the General Hospital in Ottawa surrounded by his family.
Beloved son of the late Makhlouf El-Asmar and Marie-Anne Desmarais.
Loving husband of the late Takla El-Asmar.
Devoted father of Maria (George Assi), Ghassan (Roxane Malt) and Maurice (Chantal Lefebvre).
Cherished grandfather of Maroun, Roxane (Ramzi Marjaba), Aleco, Toni, Adriana, Maxime, Vanessa, Katrina and Lana and great-grandfather of Castiel.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Beechwood Cemetery and Funeral Services, 280 Beechwood Ave, Ottawa.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 11:00am at Saint Charbel Maronite Church, 245 Donald street, Ottawa.
