It is with great sorrow that we announce that our dear husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend was called by the Lord.
Gharami passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday,  June 10, 2018.
Beloved son of the late Georges Haykal and the late Matilda Malek of Lebanon.
Loving husband of Amale Ghantous.
Very proud father of Mathilda (Mel Sater), Dr. Kay-Anne (Nabil Absi), Dr. Siba (Trevor Hunter) and Ghady (Benjamin Thomas).
Adored grandfather of Elliott, Kayla, Jeremy, Ray, Anthony, Angela and Lauren.
Dear Brother of Joseph and Chawki of Brazil and the late Wajdi (Wafaa Haddad) of Lebanon.
Dear Brother-in-law of the late Khalil Ghantous (Nelly Sayegh), Souad Berchan (the late Ibrahim), the late Mary Assaad (the late Elias), Nouhad Khayrallah (Habib), Elie Ghantous (Renée Kenaan), the late Albert Ghantous (Amira Rahal), Georgette Hajjar (Sami) and Michel Ghantous (Maryse Lacasse).
The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at Racine Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home, 180 Montreal Road, Ottawa, Ontario.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 11:00 am at Saint Charbel Parish Ottawa, Maronite Catholic Church, 245 Donald St.
Interment will follow at Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Ave.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Charbel Maronite Catholic Parish, Ottawa, Ontario, would be appreciated.
