Halim George  Saikaly
1936 – 2017
It is with great sadness that the family of Halim George Saikaly announces his passing.
In his home, surrounded by his family on Friday, March 10, 2017, Halim lost his short, courageous battle.
Survived by his wife and best friend Haifa of 55 years.
Loving father of George, Nora and Rhonda (David).
Much loved Jido of Leanna and Halim Jr.
Halim will be missed by many, including his sisters Eugene and Samia and his brother Walid.
Predeceased by his sisters Mariam, Linda and Nadia.
Special thanks to the staff of the Ottawa General 8th floor west and the many caregivers, especially Dr. Elias.
Family and friends may pay their respects at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral on Tuesday, March 14, 2017  from 9:30am to 10:30am.
Funeral Service will follow at 10:30am.
Interment Hope Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Elias Cathedral or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
