It is with great sadness that the family of Izabel announce her passing in Ottawa on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at the age of 98.
Izabel was an exceptionally talented seamstress who made dresses for family and friends for generations, well into her mid 90’s.
Beloved wife of the late Cheiban Saleh.
Loving mother of May, Mona (Peter Manor), Jean (Gladys Azzi), Tony (JoAnne Francis) and Mirna (Roger Baliki).
Cherished grandmother of Sid, Hazar, Daniel, Matthew, Christian, James, John, Andrew, Mark and Laura and many great-grandchildren.
Dear sister of Father Paul Oneid (Khourieh Souad Aoun), Victoria Baliki (late Ibrahim Baliki), all of Ottawa; Robert Oneid (Therese Meouchi), Therese Tedi (Tanous Tedi), all of Lebanon.
She will be dearly missed by her extended family and many loving nieces, nephews and friends in Canada, USA, Australia and Lebanon.
Due to the current circumstances related to COVID-19, a private funeral service will be held on Monday , June 8,  2020 and will be limited to the immediate family.
