Jamil Moussa Fazaa
May 4, 1926 – January 10, 2016

A kind spirited soul,  passed away peacefully on Sunday January 10, 2016 at the Ottawa General Hospital surrounded by his loved ones.
Born in Kobayat Lebanon to late parents Souria and Moussa Fazaa.
Survived by his devoted wife Nazek Matta Fazaa.
Cherished father of Elie Fazaa (Nina Dagher), Leila Nassif (Kaissar),  Amal Fazaa Degady (Ahmed), Rita Ayoub (George) and the late Michel Fazaa,
Admired grandfather of Pierre Nassif, Paul Nassif (Sue), Zeina Ryan (Samuel), Sanaa Ayoub Geneski (Fidan), Nana Fazaa Ayoub (Kevin), Nada Fazaa, Rabih Ayoub,  Celena Fazaa, Mireille Fazaa, Tatiana Fazaa and 12 great-grandchildren.
Beloved brother of Amira Kerbaj , predeceased by siblings Abdallah Fazaa, Jamilé Fazaa, Youssef Fazaa, Hamid Fazaa, Damia Tohmé, Rachidé Ghaya and Aminé Tohmé.
Survived by  many loving nieces, nephews, and their families.
Beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend who will be missed and remembered by many.
Thank you for the amazing love and support from the staff at the Ottawa General Hospital in helping to see him through to the end of his journey.
The family will receive relatives and Friends on Monday January 11, 2016 from 5:00 to 9:00p.m. at Beechwood Funeral Home , 280 Beechwood Ave.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday January 12, 2016  at 11:00 a.m.  at St. Charbel Maronite Church, 245 Donald st.
Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jamil’s memory  to the Ottawa General Hospital  would be greatly appreciated.‎
