Peacefully at the age of 99.
Predeceased by his wife Lilly Abboud. Also predeceased by his first wife Sophie.
Loving father of Phil (Sandy), Mona (George), Ida, George (Emma), Wadad Absi (George) and Naif Maroun (the late Norma).
Dear  Grandfather of Katherine (Jason), Andrew (Shayna), Ann Saab (Joe), Elie Absi (Randa), Jerry Absi (Mira), Sophie Absi (Jose) and Nada Semaan (Tony).
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00pm  and  7:00 to 9:00pm at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road,
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Drive, Ottawa.
Interment at Pinecrest Cemetery.
