1926 – 2015
Returned to her heavenly home on Tuesday March 17, 2015 at the age of 88.
Beloved wife of Wilfred for 69 years.
Cherished mother of Fred and Leila.
Loving grandmother of Jessica, Christina, Matthew and Isaac.
She leaves to mourn her brothers Dr. Samuel Boushy (Luciel), David Boushey (Leila), Paul Boushy (Susan) and sister-in-law Linda Boushy.
She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her brothers Rev. Theodore Boushy, Salam Boushy, Kamel Boushy, Rev. Nadeem Boushy and sisters Jamile Boushy, Camilla Nasrallah and Yvonne Aboud.
Lydia was a devoted servant of the Lord and is now resting peacefully in the arms of Jesus.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, on Thursday, March 19 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 20 at 11 am in Arabic Evangelical Baptist Church of Ottawa (at Alta Vista Baptist Church), 887 Canterbury Avenue.
Interment at Beechwood Cemetery.
