It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our father, Mikhael Skaff, on November 9, 2020, at the age of 100, surrounded by his family.
Beloved husband of  the late Souad Khoury.
Mikhael will be remembered as a wonderful father of  Ghassan (Madiana Chamoun), Walid (Rula),  Marwan (Yolande Airangi) and Ghada (Jado Mansour).
Cherished and proud grandfather (Jiddo) of  Michelle (Gabriel Jabbour), Elie, Adriana, Yara, Jessica, Pamela and Téa Skaff ; Jennifer, Joseph and Christian Mansour.
Predeceased  by his siblings Gerious, Elias, Andraous, Mariam, Hanneh and Adibeh Skaff.
Mikhael was a blessing to his family, independent until the end.  He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
A respected and helpful man to his community and everyone who knows him, back home in Lebanon and in his new home Canada. He was full of faith and he loved the Lord, his church and family.
We would like to thank the nurses and staff at The Ottawa Hospital for the great care and compassion they showed him.
The family will receive relatives and  friends on Thursday, November 12, 2020  at 10:00 am  at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral – 2975 Riverside Drive, followed by funeral service at 11:00 am.
Due to government regulations, only 160 people are allowed in the cathedral at the same time.
Face masks and social distancing guidelines are in effect.
In memory of Mikhael, donations to St. Elias Cathedral would be appreciated.
Interment Beechwood Cemetery –  280 Beechwood Ave.
