Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday July 13, 2018 at the age of 93 .
Born in Damascus, Syria to the late Mousallam and Warda El-Turk.
Beloved husband of the late Rosa El-Turk (nee Bassila).
Adored father of Fadia (late Maurice Saumure), Nadia (John Shadeed), Samia (Guy Larocque), Anthony Elton (Victoria), Sami Elton (Wendy), Tania (Paul-Erik Kock) and Katia (Iain Beck).
Cherished grandfather (“Jeddo”) of Adam Nassar (Lisa), Rebecca (Jacques Lacroix), Lydia (Thomas Hogbin), Jack (Cristina), Serge, Alexander, Greggory, Sébastien and Julia.
Great-grandfather of Gabriel, Dominic, Hanna, Cynthia, Célina, Madison and Ashley.
His wisdom and humour will be sorely missed.
Funeral service to be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 11:00 am at Sts. Peter and Paul Melkite Catholic Church, 1161 North River Road.
Interment at Beechwood Cemetery.
