Passed away peacefully at The Ottawa Hospital – General Campus on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at the age of 86.
Beloved wife of the late Salim Kassim.
Loving mother of Nabila (Rainer) Elsner, Maggie Gaffney (Ron) & David Kassim.
Cherished grandmother of Allison McAleer; Sean (Tina), Kevin & Sheilah Gaffney.
Great-grandmother of Braeden, Maysen & Kayden Gaffney.
Adored sister of John Labib Saikaly.
Dear aunt of Cathy (Jim) and William (Kristine) Shadid.
Predeceased by her brother Camille Shadid, mother Samia Saikaly, father William Shadeed and step-father Michael Saikaly. The family will recive relatives and friends  at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road in Ottawa, Ontario on Friday, August 28, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm.
Funeral service will commence in the chapel at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11:00am, followed by interment at Pinecrest Cemetery.
