Passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, November 18, 2015 at the Queensway Carleton Hospital.
Beloved wife of the late Jamil Assaad.
Much loved mother of Joseph (Marie Nahas), Jacqueline Miri (Ahmad), Gilla Assaad, Fady (Lee-Anne Armstrong), the late Jihad and late Michel (Hoda Akil).
Dear Grandmother of Jihad, Jamil, Ghada (Ali Aoun), Faten (Mohammad Ghannam), Youssef, Jihad, Waseem, Jihad, Sarah (Naim Taweel), Ziad,  Camil, William and Joseph.
Great-Grandmother of Hassan, Zeina, Jacqueline, Abdullah, Remi and Georges.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, November 19, 2015 between 5:00pm and 9:00pm at Beechwood Funeral Home, 280 Beechwood Ave.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 10:00am at Beechwood .
