Sadie (Zahab) Shaheen
February 9, 1920 – May 28, 2014

Passed away peacefully in hospital, on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at the age of 94.
Beloved wife of the late George Shaheen.
Loving mother of Joan (Walid Elias), Gail Hubbert, Richard, Elaine Halman, Ronnie (Zenaida) and the late Allan.
Dear grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Survived by her brother Henry Reid and predeceased by Anthony Reid and Claire Azzie.
The family wish to thank the staff of the palliative care unit of the Ottawa General Hospital for their compassionate and excellent care provided.
The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Sunday, June 1, 2014 from 2-4 & 6-9 pm.
Funeral Service on Monday at 10:30 am at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Drive (at Ridgewood Ave).
Interment Beechwood Cemetery.
