Obituary – Farah Abboud

Farah Abboud
Born in Jebjannine, Lebanon.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Farah Abboud on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at the age of 87.
Beloved husband of Nouhad Khoury.
Predeceased by his first wife Haja Salamé.
Devoted father of Fida, George (Nina Genova), Amal, and Fadi.
Cherished grandfather of Nancy (Fawzi Otell), Johnny, Paul (Rachel Hewitt), Lana, Alexander, Nicholas and Tony.
Dear  brother of Jamilé Abou-Kheir, Elmaz Riachi and the late Mariam Haddad.
Farah was a man full of life and boundless energy. His love for travel and people, combined with an infectious spirit, made him a beacon of joy to all who knew him. He lived life to the fullest, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Farah’s family was his greatest treasure. He was a cherished uncle, inspiring grandfather, and adored great-grandfather. His wisdom, guidance, and unwavering love shaped the lives of his children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, both in Canada and Lebanon. Though he has left us, his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, and his legacy of love, adventure, and joy will continue to inspire.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at Beechwood Cemetery.
Funeral service will be  held on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Drive.
Interment at  Beechwood Cemetery.
