Obituary – Frizo Anis Dib

Frizo Anis Dib
Now resting in the arms of the Lord, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 3, 2024. Survived by his loving wife Leila (nee Haddad) for 50 years. Much loved father of Anis (Peggy El-Hajj), Eddy (Sofia Chalhoub), Shady (Cécile Farhat). Proud and loving grandfather of Yara, Maya, Nicolas, Savannah, Lucas and Thomas. They were his pride and joy.
Frizo will be sadly missed by his extended families along with many friends in Lebanon, Canada, Australia, Sweden and the United States. He was most passionate about his faith, family, and his profession as a chef. He will always be remembered for his famous shawarma.
Many thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Civic Hospital for their care and compassion.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Dr.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 11:00 am.
Interment at Hope Cemetery, 4660 Bank Street, Ottawa.
