Passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at the age of 82.
Loving son of the late Habib and Nazima.
Predeceased by his wife Marie Sabbagh and his son Michael.
Loving father of Nadea, Souad, Habib (France), Sophia and Karma (Albert).
Cherished Jidoo “Bop” to Stephen, Jenine, Michael, Justin, Joshua, Joseph and Noah.
Dear brother of Najla, Elias, Wadih (Sadie), Assaf (Houaida) and Salwa (Toufic) all of Ottawa.
Predeceased by brothers Chafic (Inaam) of Lebanon and Naim (Widad) of Ottawa.
He will be dearly missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family living throughout Canada, U.S.A. and Lebanon. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road).
Funeral Service on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Saint Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Drive.
Interment Capital Memorial Gardens, 3700 Prince of Wales Dr.
