(December 10, 1950 – September 22, 2019)
Passed away surrounded by his  family on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at the age of 68.
Beloved son of the late Georges Karkache and late Rose Chalabi.
Loving  husband of Leila Achcar.
Adored father of Nidal (Jason Naufal), Alissar (Alie Mansour) and Dr. Wassim.
Very proud Jido of Adam, Hussein and James.
Much loved  brother of Nicolas (Saide Issa) and Lily,  all of Canada; Ilham and Feryale (Fadlo Makdessi) and the  late Lieutenant Sami (Mona Saliba), all of Lebanon.
Dear brother-in-law of   Najwa (Gabriel Coutya) and Jihad Achcar (Noha Loutfi), all  of Canada; Daad (Mitri Rahbany), Naziha, Colonel Fouad Achcar (late Therese Saliba), Samia, Wafaa and the late Marie (late Jean Samarani),  all of Lebanon.
The family will receive relatives and friends  on Thursday , September 26, 2019 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home & Chapel  – 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 27, 219 at  11:00 am at Sts. Peter and Paul Melkite Catholic Church, 1161 North River Rd. Ottawa.
Interment Hope Cemetery – 4660 Bank St. Gloucester, ON K1T 3W7.
