With great sadness we announce that our beloved mother peacefully passed away at the age of 76, surrounded by her loved ones, on Saturday, March 27, 2021.
Beloved wife of the late Elias Khazzaka.
Loving mother of Elizabeth (Tomasz Bernat), and Genevieve (Alexander Eljallad .
Cherished grandmother of Amelia.
Dear sister of Nohad Alam, Fadwa Khoury, Kafa Mohsen, Angel Warsha, Nouage Fares, Michel Mohsen and Mohsen Mohsen.
Marie will be dearly missed by her family and friends in Canada, Lebanon, and the United States.
A very special thank you to all of the staff at the Glebe Center for their compassion, kindness, and patience over the past few years.

Family and friends may pay respects after 10:00 am on Friday, April 9, 2021at Sts. Peter & Paul Melkite Catholic Church, 1161 North River Road, Ottawa. The Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am.
A private family burial will take place in Beechwood Cemetery following the Mass.
