Passed away peacefully on Friday, February 17, 2017 at the age of 81.
Beloved aunt of Richard Salameh (Dolli), cherished great-aunt of Danielle, George and Joseph Salameh.
Loving daughter of late Ghattas and Najibie and dear sister of late George Salameh(Wajiha).
Mary Ann joined the State Department in 1966 and served in Amman, Ankara, Rabat, Belgrade, Rio de Janeiro, Riyadh and Ottawa. She will be remembered as a woman who lived with great love, humour and a passion for traveling. She gave without limit or expectation, her depth of character will never be surpassed.
The family would like to send a heart-filled thank you to all staff at The Ottawa Hospital and Saint-Vincent Hospital 5 South team for the amazing care given to Mary Ann.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, February 20, 2017 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home and Chapel, 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa, Ontario.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 10:00am at St.Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Drive, Ottawa, Ontario.
Interment to follow at Capital Memorial Garden, 3700 Prince of Wales Drive, Ottawa, Ontario.
In lieu of flowers donations to St. Elias Cathedral would be appreciated.
