(November 12, 1934 – March 16, 2023.
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at the age of 89.
Beloved wife of the late Karim Abdel-Sater.
Loving mother of Elie (Noura Nehme), Joseph (Inaam Nassif), Helene Stephan (Stephan Stephan), Georges (Jacqueline Ayoub), Amal Nakhle (Assaad Nakhle) and Lawyer Mel Sater (Lawyer Mathilda Haykal).
She will be greatly missed by her family, her brothers and sisters in Lebanon, her grandchildren, Karim, Clara, Gabriel, Helene, Amal, Wafaa, Lucien, Bachir, Lance, Jacques, Josianne, Johnny, Georges, Joelle, Jacques, Elliott and Jeremy, her many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, March 19, 2023, from 5:00 to 9:00pm at McEvoy-Shields Funeral home at 1411 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 20, 2023, at 11:00am at Saint Charbel Maronite Catholic Church, 245 Donald Street.
