Obituary – Nick Elias Ayoub

Born in Kfarmichki, Lebanon.
Passed away in Ottawa, peacefully in his sleep, on Tuesday, July 23, 2024.
Dear son of the late Fr. Elias and Marhaba Ayoub.
Beloved husband of Chafica (nee Abou Chehade).
Much loved father of Micheline (Tony Saade), Danny (Rania Awada), Claudine (Roger Saber), and Amanda (Marwane Salibi).
Proud and loving grandfather of Dannah, Jenna, Nicholas, Noah and Ronin.
Dearest brother of Linda (Moussa); predeceased by Anis (Nawal), Amira (late Nicholas),  Salem (Souad) and Fayez (Georgette).
Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Nick was the proud owner of Nick’s Confectionery for over 51 years.  He never missed a day to spend with his customers who he adored like family.
He lived a life defined by love, compassion and patience not only with his family but to all.  He was known for his unwavering kindness, gentle spirit, and generous heart. His presence brought joy and comfort to all who knew him, and his memory will be cherished by all who were blessed to have crossed his path.
The family will receive relatives and friends  on Monday, July 29, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral , 2975 Riverside Dr. followed by funeral service.
Interment at Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Ave. Ottawa,
