Nicolas Georges Karkache
After a courageous battle with Cancer and with family by his side passed away on Sunday April 5, 2020 at the age of 77.
Beloved husband of Sayde Issa.
Loving father of Samia (Toni El-Azzi), Georges, Hani and Hadi.
Proud grandfather of Melissa, Andrew and William.
Dear brother of Lily and the  late Khalil (Leila Achkar) all of Ottawa; Ilham, Feryale (Fadlo Mackdessi), the late Samia and  the  late Lieutenant Sami (Mona Saliba), all of Lebanon.
Predeceased by his parents Georges Karkache and Rosa Chalabi.
He will be dearly  missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Due to the current restrictions, the  immediate family will be holding a private funeral service at Beechwood Cemetery on Tuesday April 14, 2020.
A memorial service will be held at a future date.
Sincere thanks to all the Physicians, Nurses, and staff at the Ottawa Heart Institute, the Cancer Centre and the Elizabeth Bruyere Centre.
