Fell asleep in the Lord on Sunday, February 28, 2016, surrounded by his family, peacefully at his home in Ottawa.
Christ the Lord called him to His eternal heavenly home.
Beloved son of the late Elias Maroun Absi and Saidé Asmar Absi.
Loving husband of Therese Asmar Absi.
Cherished father of Mikhael (Lina Chidiac), Tony (Madeleine El-Sayegh), Gisele (Georges El-Choueiry), Maguy (John El-Abras), Rouwaida (David El Rahy), Hoda (Habib Massaad), all of Ottawa.
Dear brother of George (Wadad Absi), Michel (Samira Hajjar), Joseph (late Georgette Asmar), Eid (Lodi Choueiry), Marie (late Abdo Wazen).
Loving Jiddo of Jessy (Werner Perez), Judy, Gina (Justin Chartier), Jackie, Davia (Steven Saab), Rodric, Dori, Michel, Elie M., Anthony, Elie A., Jonathan, Marianne, Charbel and Therese.
Great Grandfather of Natalia, Jordi and Gia.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 4:00 to 9:00pm  at Beechwood Funeral and Cemetery Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 2, at 11:00am  at St. Charbel Maronite Church, 245 Donald St.
