It is with heavy hearts that the family announces his peaceful passing on  Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the age of 85.
He lived a happy life and was always surrounded by family.
He is survived by Nelly, his wife of 55 years, daughter Marlene (Peter) and son Daniel (Sally).
Beloved Jiddo to Erin, Thomas, Noah and Owen.
Dear brother to Yohanna, Michel, Abdo, and Julia and predeceased by Bechara and Noula.
He will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Born in Aaiha, Lebanon he immigrated to Canada in 1955. He settled in Montreal and was so proud to tell the story of starting off with only a few dollars in his pocket. A devoted family man, he worked hard to build a rewarding life in Canada.
He loved gardening and enjoyed travelling in his later years.
The family would like to thank the caring attention provided by the committed staff at Valley Stream Retirement Residence. In lieu of flowers, online donations to St. Elias Cathedral would be appreciated.
