Obituary – Antoinette Hanna Abou-Chakra

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, September 30, 2022. at the age of 79 .
Beloved daughter of the late Habbib Hanna and the late Adele Shakar
Loving wife of Emil Abou-Chakra.
Much loved mother of Denise, Joseph (Rita), Maroun and Jack (Martha).
Cherished sister of Nadia ( late Elias Nakhle), Issam (Hoda Farhat), Eveline (Fouad Sabir), Jacqueline ( late Najib Rafoul), and Marie ( Khalil Nakhlie); predeceased by Victoria (late Joseph Haddad).
Loving grandmother of Carmen, Ruba, Yara and Jori; great grandmother of Jea and Charbel.
Caring sister-in-law of Samira ( late Emil Hage), the late Samir (late Audette Hanna), the late Nasif and the late Jamil (Helene Sayah), all of Lebanon.
She will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Canada and Lebanon.
Gone but never forgotten.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, October 5 , 2022 from 9:00 to 11:00 am at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home & Chapel, 1411 Hunt Club Road, followed by funeral service at 11:30 am at Saint-Charbel Parish Maronite Catholic Church, 245 Donald St.
