(née Matta)
(March 1, 1939– November 15, 2022)
Passed away in Ottawa on Tuesday November 15, 2022, at the General Hospital, following a lengthy battle with cancer.
Beloved wife of the late Karim Abi Khaled.
Loving mother of Wafaa (Chawki Barazan), Sami (Elham Kheirallah) and Fadi (Nada Dagher).
Dear sister of Nazek (late Jamil Fazaa), Maurice Matta (late Kronflé Wehbe), and Samir Matta; predeceased by  Samira Matta and Salim Matta (Souad Ghanem),.
She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Nadeem, Nicole, Karim, Christine, Sarah (Diana Moujaes), Jad and Elie, as well as her nephews and nieces.
Friends and relatives may pay respects at Beechwood Funeral and Cemetery Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, on Thursday November 17, 2022, from 5:00 to 9:00pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday November 18, 2022, at 10:30 am at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Drive.
