Has returned to the mercy of Allah Almighty on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at the age of 95, surrounded by his loved ones at the Ottawa Civic Campus.
Beloved husband of the late Hajji Ramzieh Elcheikh Mahmoud.
Loving father of Toufic, Amin, Mahmoud, Bassam, Ibrahim, Mohamad, Hussein, Abbis and Wafaa.
Dear son of the late Toufic and Hajji Qasmiyeh.
Much loved brother  of Hajj Mohamad and Hussein; predeceased by Hassan, Ahmad, Hajji Fatmeh and Zeinab, all of Lebanon.
Hajj Ali Toufic made Canada his home in 1976.  Soon after, he started working at the Talisman Hotel as well as his family business Gallileo’s/O’Brien’s Eatery.  He supported his children and encouraged them each to prosper in business and in their careers.  He will be eternally missed by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended families both in Canada and in Lebanon.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, August 10,  2023 from 7:00 to  9:00 pm at Imam Ali Masjid Mosque, 1606 Walkley Road, Ottawa, and  on Friday August 11, 2023 from 1:00  to  5:00 pm and 6:00 to 9:00 pm at Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Vanier.
Reception to follow.
Interment will be held in his hometown of Machgara, Lebanon.
