It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Anis , surrounded by his loving family in Ottawa on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the age of 86.
Beloved son of the late Georges and Julia Bader who welcomed him with open arms in heaven.
Anis was a devoted husband of 55 years of Leila Zgheib Bader, and a beloved father to Rita (Jean Bader), Robbie (Rima Barazan), Aline (Jack Bader) and Martin.
He is survived by his loving siblings, Toufic (late Salwa Badr), Zeidan (Wadad Badr), Michel (Dunia Mechleb), Souad (late Elias Kulwartian), Jamile (late Naim Badr) and is predeceased by his brothers Youssef (Geneviève Badr) and Camil (Wardieh Badr).
Cherished grandfather of Michael, Angelo, Pamela, Angelina, Jacob, Mila and Ella.He will be deeply missed by many friends, cousins, nieces and nephews from Canada and abroad.
Known for never missing his daily Tim Hortons coffee, Anis will be remembered for his sense of humor, remarkable memory, and the love and devotion for his family.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, October 27, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Saint Charbel Parish Ottawa, Maronite Catholic Church .245 Donald Street), followed by the funeral service.
Interment  at Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue.
