George Zacharia Skaff
(1930 – 2026)

Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the age of 96.
Beloved husband of the late Carime
Predeceased by his parents Zacharia and Marie Skaff, and his brother Elie.
Loving father of Madona (David Koren), Steve, and Anita.
Cherished Jidou of Sarah Louise Koren.
He was a loving and amazing uncle to many nieces and nephews.
George was a generous man who never hesitated to help relatives and friends.
He will be fondly remembered for his sense of humour and the stories he would tell.
He leaves behind his brothers and sister, Nicholas (Lody), Samira (late Jean Choueiri), and Robbie (Suzanne).
The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday February 4, 2026 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at McEvoy Shields Funeral Home 1411 Hunt Club Road.
Funeral will be held on Thursday February 5, 2026  at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Drive, Ottawa.
Interment at Hope Cemetery, 4660 Bank Street.
In lieu of flowers, for those wishing, in memoriam donations to  St. Elias Cathedral  would be appreciated.
