Obituary – Wajdi Khaddaj

Wajdi Khaddaj
(November 4, 1945 – March 3, 2026)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear Wajdi  in Ottawa on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
A devoted father and grandfather, Wajdi’s smile, kindness, and sense of humour brought warmth and laughter to everyone who knew him.
He will be deeply missed by his children, Diana, Vivian (Elie Khouri), Robbie, and Ivana, as well as by his extended family and dear friends.
Wajdi cared profoundly for his family. He took immense pride in his children and grandchildren and was happiest when gathered together with those he loved. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him and in the countless lives he touched.
The family will receive relatives and friends  on Friday, March 6, 2026 from 6:00 to  8:00 p.m. at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Rd., Ottawa, K1V 1A6.
For those who wish, donations in memory of Wajdi to The Ottawa Hospital would be appreciated.
