Peacefully with his family by his side at May Court Hospice on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the age of 79.
Beloved husband of the late Sheila.
Loving father of Derek (Sylvia) and Danya.
Dear Jiddo of Alexander.
He is survived by his brother Joe and his sister Amal and his extended family both near and far.
The family wishes to thank the various community caregivers for the compassion shown to Ray and his family over the last year.
Ray had 2 careers, he managed at the Chateau Laurier Hotel and managed his golf clubs at the Rivermead.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm.  at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 10:30 am at Saint Charbel Parish Ottawa, Maronite Catholic Church, 245 Donald St.
Interment Beechwood Cemetery.
In memoriam donations to St. Charbel Church or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
