Beloved  son of the late  Farid K, Kanaan and Isabelle El Hage.
Cherished father of Frederic and Angelique.
Loving brother of Edward (Guilda), Raymond (Violette), Antoinette (Sami Bassil) and Maurice, all of Gatineau; Renee (Elias Ghantous) of Ottawa.
Dear uncle of Roger Ghantous (Enaam), Yollande (Adnan  Mehdi), Jocelyne (Toni  Al-Arraj), Alain Ghantous (Cynthia), Eddie Ghantous (Sandra); Natalie Kanaan, Fadi and Isabelle Kanaan; Christine (Guylain Girouard) and Jessica Bassil; Robert, Amanda and Edward Kanaan.
Passed away in Ottawa on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.

The family would like to thank all relatives and friends who expressed their compassion and support, either by calling, visiting, attending the funeral service, sending flowers or donating to the Church.
