A Divine Liturgy will be held on Sunday January 25, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint-Charbel Parish, Maronite Catholic Church, 245 Donald St. in Ottawa.
Son of the late Jamil Ghaleb and the late Rahigha Ojeil.
Beloved husband of Leyla Semaan Atallah.
Loving Father of Karine (Fadi Ojeil) of Ottawa; Elias (Isabelle Rai), Johnny (Sylva Salem) and Sayde (Assaad Ayoub), all of New York;  Rahigha (Nabil Ojeil) of Belgium; Maroun (Ramona Mefleh) and Gretta (Dr.Roger Zakhour), all of Lebanon.
Cherished grandfather of  Said (Paula Abou Fakher), Steevens (Nadine Mefleh), Stephanie (Nizar Saify), Cynthia, Renée (Tony Mofleh), Charbel (Marie Abou Assaf), Mary-Angela (Fouad Baroud), Jennifer (Florentin Vanroy), Yara, Charbel, Andrea, Mary, Clarita, Rita, Georges, Rosinella, Angelina, Rita, Marie-Raymond, Veroniqua, Catrina, Rea, Maicy, Romy and Philippo.
Much loved great-grandfather of James, Fadi, Christian, John, Mathéo, Nathaniel, Eléonore, Nicholas, Angelo, Simon, Noah, Anthony, Sofia Maria and Assad.
Dear brother of Ramez (Antoinette El-Ghazal), the late Chedid (Nayfe Karam), Melhem (Katia Abou Gharib), Maryam (the late Tannos Farhat), the late Souraya (Late Michel Habr), the late Badria (the late Ibrahim Atallah), Thérèse (the late Atallah Chebli), Nazek (Elias Farah) and Najah (Souhail Karam).
He will be dearly missed by Ghaleb, Atallah, Ojeil, Rai, Salem, Mefleh, Ayoub, Zakhour, Farhat, El-Ghazal,  Abou Gharib, Habr, Chebli, Farah, Karam, Abou Fakher, Saify, Abou Assaf, Baroud, Vanroy and all Beit Lahya families.
Passed away peacefully in Lebanon on Wednesday January 7, 2026 at the age of 85.
