A Fortieth-Day Divine Liturgy will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
at Saints Peter and Paul Melkite Catholic Church -1161 North River Road, Ottawa.
Beloved husband of Souad Kanaan.
Loving father of Grace (Dr. Fadi Eid) of Gatineau; Marianne (Father Elias Chataoui), Eliane, and Bachir, all of Lebanon.
Cherished grandfather of Nicolas, Emmanuelle, Nour, Nay and John-Halim.
He will be dearly missed by his family, his brothers and sisters in Lebanon, the family of his niece Hanneh El Khoury (Samir Abou Samra) in Ottawa, and his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews in Lebanon, and abroad.
Habib passed away peacefully in Lebanon on Tuesday, December 30, 2025.
