Daniel Saikaley
(July 19, 1960 – November 10, 2022)
Passed away in Ottawa on Thursday November 10, 2022 after a courageous battle with brain cancer with his loving wife Heather Reynolds by his side.
The world lost a kind, compassionate and generous man.
His passing leaves a hole in the hearts of his beloved boys Jordan and Evan.
Beloved son of the late George and Toefeida Saikaley.
Dear brother of Assad (Elham), Maufid (Najwa), Philippe (Najat), Joseph and Michael ; predeceased by Shakib, Samaan, Labib, Elias and Linda.
He will be dearly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, November 14, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 9:00 pm at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home & Chapel, 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa, ON.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 10:30 am at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Drive, Ottawa, ON.
Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.

Dan was a Chartered Professional Accountant with KPMG and more recently worked as a highly valued Investment Advisor with CIBC Wood Gundy. Dan was a graduate of Hillcrest High School in Ottawa and the Queens University Honours Commerce Program.
Dan’s lasting legacy is one of service to others as a volunteer for many community and youth based organizations and as a participant in countless charity events and fundraisers along with his wife Heather.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks for the incredible medical care Dan received at both the Ottawa Civic Neurosurgery Department and the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre and Oncology Floor 6 West. Your care and compassion will never be forgotten.
