Dr. Christiane Farazli

Christiane Nawar, known professionally as Dr. Christiane Farazli, born Farazli on August 30, 1950, in Cairo, Egypt, passed away on the night of Friday, July 4, 2025, at the age of 74.
Daughter of the late Michel Farazli and the late Ketty Kosseim.
Faithful wife of Yousri George Nawar, devoted mother of Thierry, the late Philippe, and Josiane (Jean-François Dubé) Nawar, cherished grandmother of Charles and Henri Dubé,.
Sister of Mireille (the late Jean-Louis Morency), the late Jocelyne, Corinne and Jeannine Farazli, aunt of Michela Rodriguez, sister-in-law of Magued, Sami, Nadia and Tewfik Nawar and their spouses, and esteemed gastroenterologist, she leaves behind her husband, children and grandchildren as well as many close friends and relatives.
The family will receive your condolences at the Beechwood Cemetery Funeral Home, in Ottawa, on Friday, July 18th, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  A requiem mass will follow at 12:30 p.m.
The family will then gather privately for an intimate burial service and invite you afterwards to commemorate the life of our beloved Christiane. The reception will be held at the funeral home.
