George Obagi
Passed away peacefully in his home in Ottawa and surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at the age of 82.
Beloved husband of Mona Obagi (Stamboulié).
Loving father of Nouha (Salim Fakhouri), Joseph (Deborah St.Jean), Oliver (Mounira Merheb) and Christopher (Monique El-Azzi).
Cherished grandfather of Maria, Anthony, Mattheo, Matthew, James, John Paul, Jeremy, Joshua and Theodore.
Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Lydia (Ajouri) and brother Raouf.
He will be missed by his extended family in Ottawa, Siham (Nichan Markarian) and family, and all those abroad.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 5:30 to 9:00pm at Beechwood Funeral and Cemetery Services, 280 Beechwood Ave .
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 11:00am at Sts. Peter and Paul Greek Melkite Catholic Church, 1161 North River Road, Ottawa, presided by His Excellency Bishop Milad El Jawich.
In lieu of flowers and for those wishing, in memoriam donations to Sts. Peter and Paul Church would be appreciated.
