Passed away peacefully in Ottawa on Friday, November 1, 2024 at the age of 82, surrounded by her family, who loved her deeply and will miss her immensely.
Beloved wife of Fariz Mawas.
Devoted mother of Dalal (Andy Piche), Layla (Kent Lacroix), Ida (Milad Fahd) and Laura (Stephen Wlodarczyk).
Cherished grandmother of Georgette (Chris James), Lina Barakat (Francisco Santamaria); Andrea and Jamie Piche; George and Annie Fahd; Jacob, Nathan and Ryan Wlodarczyk.
Dear sister of George Nahas (Souad Hajjar), Massoud  Nahas (Silva Fahd and Late Rawia Abboud) and  Marie Nahas (Late Joseph Assaad);
predeceased by Joseph Nahas (Fahima El Saikaly), Isabelle Nahas (Jean El Saikaly), John Nahas (Nadia Sayyar), Farajallah Nahas (Late Huda Ayoub) and Jeanette (Salem El Saikaly).
She will be also sadly missed by many extended family and friends.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, November 4, 2024 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue, followed by funeral service at  Beechwood’s Sacred Space.
In lieu of flowers and for those wishing, donations to Sts. Peter and Paul Church, would be appreciated.
