Obituary – Ghassan Azimi

Ghassan Azimi

August 8, 1960 – June 15, 2025

With heavy hearts and deep sadness, we announce the passing of Ghassan Azimi, who left this world on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at the age of 64.
Ghassan is survived by his wife Hiam Saikaly, stepchildren Faten Radwanski, John Saikaly and Danny Saikaly who will cherish his memory always.
Will be dearly missed by his brother Adeeb and sisters Rima and Ritta Azimi.
He was a man of integrity, humility, and unwavering love for his family and friends, known for his generous heart, his warm smile, and the way he made others feel seen and valued.
A devoted husband, stepfather and ammo, Ghassan’s greatest joy came from being with his loved ones.
Ghassan’s life is best remembered not only in the memories he left behind, but in the way he lived—with grace, with love, and with an enduring faith in God.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday June 19, 2025 between 10:00 and 11:30 a.m. at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Dr., Ottawa, followed by funeral service.
Interment at Hope Cemetery, 4660 Bank St., Gloucester.
