Hajji Fatima El-Cheikh Ismail

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on Sunday, September 14, 2025.
Beloved wife of the late Hajj Ahmad Ismail.
Loving mother of Shahrazad (Marwan Eter), Youmna, the late Ossama Ismail, Gina (Toufic Mahmoud), Rabia (the late Ahmad El-Masri), May (Hussein Agour), Moodie (Mariam Abbas).
She will be dearly missed by her siblings, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Hajji Fatima was a beautiful and kind soul whose love, generosity, and gentle spirit touched everyone around her. She will be remembered with deep affection and respect by all who knew her. May Allah grant her Jannah and mercy.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Ramachandran, all the palliative care doctors and nurses, and PSWs for their exceptional care and compassion.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025 after Zohr prayers.at Imam Ali Masjid, 1606 Walkley Road.
Interment at Ottawa Muslim Cemetery, 1668 Manotick Station Rd, Greely, ON.
