Passed away in Ottawa on Saturday, July 8, 2023.
Beloved wife and best friend of Farah Forzley.
Loving mother of Marwan (Alia), Samer (Sandra) and Lubna (Mitri).
Cherished grandmother of Zara, Kaiya, Alexa, Olivia, Tala, Sam and Chris.
Much loved sister of Antoinette (late Habib) and Omer (Hayat); predeceased by Antoine (Norma) and Elias.
Dear aunt of Ziad, Mazen, Najwa, Rola, Mirna, Imad and Lina.
Sister-in-law of  Mansour-Victor (Mona), Souheila, late  Nasr (Souad) and late Souheil-Sid (Soraya) .
She will be dearly missed by the Forzley, Al-Zand, Torres, Badr. Moussallem, Sahbani, Abboud, Hajjar and Khoury families.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, from 7:00  to 9:00pm at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home & Chapel , 1411 Hunt Club Rd.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 10:30 am at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 2975 Riverside Dr. Ottawa.
Interment at Hope Cemetery, 4660 Bank St, Gloucester.
In lieu of flowers and for those wishing, in memoriam donations to St. Elias Cathedral or The Heart Institute would be appreciated.

Born on May 20, 1944, was a constant source of inspiration to her family and friends. She approached life with a kind heart and a gentle spirit, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she encountered.

Helwe was an exceptional mother. Her children were the center of her world, and she dedicated her life to their happiness and well-being. With unwavering love, she nurtured, protected, and guided them through life’s ups and downs.
